Game Changer

So yeah, the game totally changed from a futuristic demolision derby to a baroque futurism puzzle game...Yup! We're also moving to Unity, so workflows are changing, but since i'm pretty familiar with the engine, I'll be able to do a lot more with it.

Here is the base character, the goal is to pick up pieces around the level.

First Post

Hunger Cars


I started this blog to track progress, and show techniques used in a yet to be named student project.  For now I'm calling it Hunger Cars.  Here is a grass test I'm working on.

 I used zbrush to create a plane, and filled the plane with grass strands using fiber mesh.  I then used zbrushes 2.5D mode to create a tiling grass texture, and created a normal map using the normal matcap.  Here are the results.
